b'THE HEALING SPACEWe welcome all relatives, colleagues who work with our Native youth, and those who have chosen to attend this conference. Because many of the presentations and workshops may touch upon issues that could be triggering or upsetting to survivors of abuse/violence or to those who have had a family member or loved one impacted by incarcera-tion/abuse/violence, a Healing Space will be open throughout the conference, staffed by Jim and Bonnie Clairmont and assisted by TYRC volunteers. The Healing Space will provide a safe space for those who might want to debrief, decompress, have some quiet time, or simply share their experience. Volunteers are trained advocates, counselors, and healers who are interested in assisting people who want some support at the conference. If you are interested in talking to someone or spending some time in the Healing Space, please go directly to the Healing Space or ask a person at the registration desk for assistance. The Healing Space is staffed during the below times:December 13th:3:00 PM5:30 PM December 14th: 10:00 AM12:00 PM & 1:30 PM5:30 PMDecember 15th: 10:00 AM12:00 PM If you need someone to talk to after 5:30 PM, please contact Bonnie Clairmont at (651) 216-2209.There will also be a traditional healer available for those who are seeking those services.
