Session Description: Tribal Youth Resource Center staff discussed traditional practices that have helped support communities over generations and the ways that these approaches have been integrated in modern settings to promote continued programs and services. In addition, this session encouraged dialogue revolving around current practices that JHWCs have adopted in order to encourage long-term sustainability. Presenters also evaluated components of successful programming that can be incorporated into current grantee efforts to gain interest among partners. Finally, this discussion looked at specific aspects of sustainability tools that have been recognized to assist in developing the steps necessary to ensure ongoing solutions.
