This virtual learning event supports Juvenile Healing to Wellness Court coordinators, case managers, and partnering staff to build foundational knowledge and skills to support Juvenile Healing to Wellness Court coordination, case management, and youth and family engagement.
The multi-module training will provide essential information on the Tribal Healing to Wellness Court framework, consider tribal juvenile-specific issues in treatment court settings, and review strategic approaches to support case management and team coordination. Participants will be invited to engage in dialogue with current Juvenile Healing to Wellness Court coordinators and hear from Juvenile Healing to Wellness Court peer mentors. The training will also consider the value and benefit of a trauma-informed approach to support youth and individual team member resiliency.
