Description: In this training, we covered what a Juvenile Healing to Wellness Court or program is and Tribal Council participation in the JHWC Steering Committee, highlighting how this knowledge fosters effective collaboration among Tribal entities. We also addressed the critical need to understand adolescent development, substance abuse, addiction, trauma-informed care, and mental health disorders to better support Native/Tribal youth.
