The online learning event highlights:
1) Project Venture is an evidence-based and strength-based outdoor experiential program available to middle school and high school-age students; it is also the only cultural science-based curriculum in the country. Mac Hall, founder of Project Venture, provides an overview of Project Venture. Dolores Winn, Tribal Youth Coordinator, Saginaw Michigan Tribe, shares the implementation strategies and impact of Project Venture for their Tribal Youth program.
2) Delaney Apple (Lakota) provides an overview of the Horse Healing Camps he has planned and implemented in Rapid City, South Dakota. Delaney also focuses on the importance of partnerships and community volunteers to sustain cultural & healing-based youth programs.
