Welcome to the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) Tribal Youth Resource Center, led by the Tribal Law and Policy Institute in partnership with the National Native Children’s Trauma Center.
The Tribal Youth Resource Center is a free resource for culturally based, trauma-informed training, support and technical assistance to all OJJDP-funded tribal youth program and juvenile healing to wellness court grantees, as well as other interested federally recognized tribes.
This free training and technical assistance is designed to help expand tribes’ potential in protecting and nurturing their most sacred asset – tribal youth. The Tribal Youth Resource Center accomplishes this mission through a variety of regional trainings, web-based resources available here on this website www.TribalYouthProgram.org, and free onsite and offsite training and technical assistance. The Tribal Youth Resource Center provides assistance with program and court development, assessing compliance with OJJDP grant requirements from strategic planning through sustainability and assisting with all other programmatic training and technical assistance needs.
If you are developing or enhancing your Tribal Youth Program or Juvenile Healing to Wellness Court, you can request Training and Technical Assistance at TribalYouth@TLPI.org or visit www.TribalYouthProgram.org to access on-line resources.
