Session Description: This training will provide an overview on trauma-informed practices for schools within a multi-level system of support. Best practices for responding to students within the school system will be addressed. Interventions and Social Emotional Learning Curricula designed to mitigate the effects of trauma will be covered in an overview format.
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will understand the impacts of trauma on students.
- Participants will be able to identify some best practices for responding to traumatic stress among their students.
- Participants will be able to identify possible interventions and supports within each of the three tiers of support.
