We cannot do this work alone. Building and sustaining partnerships in tribal truancy prevention programs can help reduce student absenteeism. Partnerships form a shared ownership and responsibility for the success of program-involved youth. This session is designed to support tribal truancy prevention programs.
Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the importance of collaboration and forming partnerships to improve student learning and create stronger families and healthier communities.
2. Consider methods to identify partnership needs, select key partners, and support their motivation to work toward the program goals and vision.
3. Learn about tools and resources to help build and sustain long-term partnerships.
