Location: Scottsdale, Arizona

Description: The NICWA January 2025 Training Institute will be in Scottsdale, Arizona on January 28–30.  There will be trainings on Positive Indian Parenting, Understanding the Indian Child Welfare Act, Cross-Cultural Skills in Indian Country, and Tribal Customary Adoption on the land of the Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community.

Positive Indian Parenting, Understanding the Indian Child Welfare Act and Cross-Cultural Skills in Indian Country will start at 8:00 a.m. on January 28 and end by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30.

Tribal Customary Adoption will start at 8:00 a.m. on January 28 and end by 5:00 p.m. on January 29th (Please note that this training is one day shorter than the other training offerings).
