About the Training
Native youth need caring adults to provide guidance, support, direction, and skills for personal growth and development. The Native Youth Leadership Gathering does just that. Activities focus on their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being and help to prepare them to be positive contributing members in their school, family, and community. Youth participants engage in a journey of ceremony, sharing, learning, and experiencing leadership development. Youth from throughout Native Country will be able to learn about healing, Native wellness, leadership, spirituality, and healthy risk-taking. In addition, they will meet other youth who are on similar paths and will be able to network and connect with other amazing youth.
