Every year far too many children are victims of abuse or neglect. Federal laws designate groups of professionals who are required to report cases of suspected child abuse and neglect occurring in Indian Country, on federal land and in federal facilities. Reporting obligations, standards for making a report, consequences for failing to report, and confidentiality of reports will be discussed. This webinar will also cover the Revised Attorney General Victim Witness Guidelines as it pertains to child abuse and the importance of developing effective Multidisciplinary Teams. This webinar will be a combination of substantive lecture and interactive scenarios. This webinar is for personnel who work in Indian country, on federal land and in federal facilities. CLE will not be provided.
