January 29 - January 31

Date: January 29 -31, 2025

LocationHyatt Regency Tamaya Resort

Description: This training is for Tribal Judicial Officers. This interactive training uses hypothetical case scenarios, small group discussion, and “mini” lectures to provide new and experienced tribal judicial officers with the tools they need to develop or enhance their ability to identify children who are being trafficked or are at risk for victimization. Tribal judicial officers will also learn effective intervention strategies that respond to the individualized needs of each victim and a stronger sense of their court and community roles to help prevent and end child sex-trafficking.

There is no registration fee for this institute and travel scholarships covering airfare, hotel, meal per diem, and ground transportation are available for the first 25 registered tribal judicial participants. You must be a tribal judicial officer to be eligible for participation in this institute.
