Veronica Willeto DeCrane and Amy Foster Wolferman from the National Native Children’s Trauma Center (NNCTC) will be providing a virtual training on “Trauma and Resilience in Tribal Communities” June 6 & 7, 2023.
This training will share research on trauma as it relates to American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) people, including trauma types, brain science, developmental and behavioral effects, and the interconnected nature of historical and current traumas.
The California Training Institute is sponsoring the training. The sponsor’s mission is to deliver science-based professional development and extended learning to staff of Family Resource Centers, Child Abuse Prevention Councils, and child welfare agencies.
